Marie is registered with the CQC as Nominated Individual and her professional background is Mental Health & Leaning Disabilties.
With over 30 years of experience, she has a proactive role in the day to day operations of the Company, which she managed under the previous proprietor before purchasing the business in January of 2000
This ensured continity of employment for the care team and continuity of care for the Service Users.
Her dedication to continuity and quality care has remained paramount and is central the business values, which are firmly based in a family orientated ethos.
Marie has fostered a team of long standing management and co-ordination staff who have worked closely with her for many years.
She is committed to Driving Up Quality and Home Support Services have signed up to show their orgainsational committment to improving services for people with a learning disability and for all people who use the service.
Sarah Kingsley
Registered Manager
Sarah has 28 years of experience in care management and workforce development in the adult social care sector. Previously employed as Senior Supervisor and as Duty Manager for Home Support Services, she has been registered by CQC as an approved Manager for Adult Community Care Services. Her background is predominently community based, but includes acute care and residental settings, including the NHS. She studied LLB Law at Degree Level, and Leadership & Management L5 and is conversant with the evolving legislation that governs the independent care sector. Having first been employed as a Domiciliary Care Worker and promoted to the position of Supervisor, Sarah is time served in the industry, having first-hand experience of the company policies and procedures through her experience of staff training and supervision in the field. She is a Registered Manager member of Skills for Care, an experienced RPR for DOLS and a Dignity Champion
Our Domiciliary Support Workers
Our staff are fully trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and receive a full Induction to Care within the first 12 weeks of employment. Many training courses are completed prior to our staff commencing work. Our accredited program is rigourous and constantly updated to reflect changes in laws which govern the sector. Through regular supervison and appraisals staff feel supported in their roles and are able to deliver a flexible, quality service to you. Specialist training in Safeguarding, Medication, Health and Safety, the Mental Capacity Act, Equality and Diversity, all specifically taylored to working in peoples own homes, assists staff to deliver support in a person centred way. We incorporate training specific to your own equipment and personal needs and work with family and friends wherever possible to achieve the best possible outcomes for you.
All new staff, new to care recieve a Care Certificate induction lasting three months, comprising of 15 units, which map to the Health and Social Care Diploma. The Induction is nationally recognised and devised by Skills for Care and Skills for Health so you can have the up most confidence in your team.
